Ejected from the womb Millions of years that came too soon Developmental stages irrelevant The chances for perfection came and went Now we scar our birthing lands Leaches and locusts with searching hands Clinging to remnants of the past This dying world fades too fast Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned Washed up are our hopes to be reborn Lands will crumble into the sea Shedding all life, devouring Consuming our home without remorse Setting ourselves on crashing course Depleating all resources for our greed An end to us this world needs We are all floating, lost in time Paralyzed with fear The consequences of our lives Becoming ever clear This loving world, our only home Our eyes to space, the urge to roam Spread our plague through the universe Orbiting Earth in our hearse

Seedlings of knowledge starved of power Thirsty for our final hour Delusional gardners prune the flowers Of revolutional desires Feed the hungry starve the weak A brand new war to kill the meek Bodies for fire Battered down desire Blinded by guidance Behind the violence Human purebred vegitation Fed through tubes of dehydration Hazmat suited Gardner's pride Killing food before the fly Starve the weak, maintain the strong Easier puppets to coax along Prune the bulb Paralyze the branch Perchance to dream Perhaps to dance Arm yourself against these demons Let them know we're not believing The truth they pass along in lies See the world through real eyes Mind control with television Fry us all with symbolism Beaten down by animal systems Dual parties for communism Teach the children regurgitation Feed them all disinformation Thought control Taught within our school Tonight we fear Tomorrow we chance

Real Eyes 02:29
Brought a child into this world Filled with hatred and fear Swore I'd never do this again Yet here I sit in tears Joyful sorrow fills my heart While sinful realities materialize I just want to stay out of the dark And hide this world of real lies We say it all goes up from here It has to give way soon Rationalize these gloomy times Or our hopes will fade away...

about

This album is, in and of itself, a love letter to early Black Sabbath albums. Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master of Reality, Vol. 4. These were albums that inspired me some 15 or so years ago. Tony Iommi's guitar playing has always served as an inspiration to me, even during the more black and death metal years of this project. Ozzy's wailing vocals were always something that I felt I could somewhat, not emulate, but handle myself knowing my own vocal range was limited. Geezer's bass playing may have had an influence on my own root-note-oriented, simple playing. Lord knows I've tried to inject some of that flavor into past projects, and been dismissed. And then there's Bill's drumming. Unrivaled. Powerful. And perfectly suited for this style of early heavy doom laden metal.

Essentially all you need to know is this. This has all the love of a tribute album, but with a modicum of the actual musical talent.
